Agmaraa

First Appearance: Legends of Hyrule: The Hyrueliana

Agmaraa is a half-Gensiarian, the same as Lissa. Unfortunately, she chose to use her powers for personal gain rather than become a Guardian. The first time any Hyrulian characters met her was when Josh and Lissa traveled to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' New York to take Josh home. Agmaraa, thinking that she was there to destroy her, attacked Lissa. Lissa managed to win the encounter and Josh realized that he wanted to stay with her, so they returned to Hyrule.

Agmaraa next traveled to the Gargoyles' New York, intent on killing off all the halflings there before one could destroy her. Luckily for the Manhattan Clan, Zack Baker had accidentally traveled to their universe and had already faced her once. He was able to explain her weakness and the Gargoyles and Unseelie halflings banded together to drive her from their universe (read In the Mists of Prophecies: Gargoyles: Caught in the Folded Web).

She landed in Obkee right after Prince Nedron had reclaimed his throne. She offered her help in his new campaign against Hyrule. She kidnapped Lyle and used his power with her own against Lissa. A younger version of Lissa was pulled forward in time to protect Kevin, Kelamane, and Zorden. Zack Baker, Keno, and Ron Smyth traveled from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe to Hyrule and helped Zoe and her knights protect the kingdom. This was the first time Zack had met Agmaraa, but she remembered him helping the Gargoyles. This was the second time Zoe faced Agmaraa, and she did not understand how she survived their first fight in the ancient past of Hyrule. Four versions of Lissa and Lyle--present-self Lyle, future-self Lyle, present-self Lissa, and past-self Lissa--forced Agmaraa into Hyrule's past (read Legends of Hyrule: Trials of War).

Once there, Agmaraa created witches to stop Hyrule from even being formed by descendent of elven and human couples. But Lyle's future self sent Zoe and Orden to that time, and they succeeded in bringing together the couples that started Zoe's paternal and maternal lines. Agmaraa was finally destroyed (read Legends of Hyrule: The Hyrueliana).

Black Knights

First Appearance: To Be a Hero: Hero Awakens

The Black Knights are a criminal group in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. They dress up in armor and steal medieval objects and weapons. They attacked the store Zoe was working in and kidnapped Keno so she would not call the police. Instead, she followed them, met Zack Baker and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and helped them rescue Keno. Then a magic portal transported her and Zack to Dragonsworld (read To Be a Hero: Hero Awakens).

Elaine

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Destiny

Elaine is Lin's lover. She was born, lived, married a man who did not love her, had his child, and died in another universe. Lissa was there and conspired with another Gensiarian to heal her, place her in an enchanted sleep, and have her laid to rest in Hyrule. Ganon found out about this, and tried to take her to use against Lin. Unfortunately, Lin rescued her from Ganon's moblins and fell in love with her. Ganon then used the Immortal Council to declare Elaine dead, and force her into the Realm of the Dead. Ganon tried to force Lin into surrendering by threatening Elaine during their battle for mastership of the Dark Realm, but Lin called the bluff. Elaine was dead and could not be killed again. Lin gained immortality to protect the Power of Gold for eternity, and he and Elaine now work to undo the damage Ganon did to the Gold Land (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny).

Gensiarians

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Verge of Destruction

Gensiarians are magical entities that possess all of magic's power, and are immortal and ageless. They have the power to travel to different universes. They created the Power of Gold to give chaotic magic boundaries so life could coexist with it. They are the arbitrators in the battles between good and evil, only acting to preserve the life flourishing in all universes.

To better protect the limited mortals, they often mate with them creating half-Gensiarians. Half-Gensiarians' magic is limited by their mortal half but they have the mortal's choice of which side to fight for. If they chose good, they become Guardians of What Has Happened and What Must Happen Shall Happen. Their Gensiarian half allows them to see the many possibilities of actions taken or not taken.

Josh likens the Gensiarians to Star Trek's Q Continuum. They are also known as Travelers among the Third Race in the Gargoyles universe, but are considered a fairy tale.

Lord Josh Kemper

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Poison

Josh is the husband of Lissa and father of Lyle. He met Lissa when she accidentally traveled to his world (Earth in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe). He helped her survive in the strange environment and helped her get back to Hyrule in time for Link and Zelda's return (read The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Poison).

Josh found it very hard to adjust to living in Hyrule. Link finally suggested to Lissa that it wasn't fair to make him stay. She agreed and she and Josh traveled back to his universe. Unfortunately, they landed in New York, which was not Josh's home town, and Lissa couldn't find a way back to Hyrule. They rented an apartment from Keno's mother and both got jobs in the city--Josh in the pizza parlor that Keno worked for and Lissa in a roleplay game/comic book store where Zack Baker liked to hang out.

Agmaraa found them and attacked, believing that Lissa was there to destroy her. Lissa barely defeated her with Josh's help. But in the course of the fight, he realized that he loved Lissa, he wanted to be with her, and she needed to be back in Hyrule. So they returned to Hyrule.

Josh and Lissa finally married two years after the twins, Kevin and Kelamane, were born. Lyle was born five years later. He helps his wife the best he can in guiding the destiny of Hyrule (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny). He also finally learned to ride a horse well enough to help Link lead the army of Hyrule (read To Be a Hero: Hero Recognized).

Princess Kelamane

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda:Destiny

Princess Kelamane is the second daughter of Prince Link and Queen Zelda II, and twin sister of Prince Kevin. She and Kevin were born five years after Princess Zoe. Since Prince Lin and Princess Zoe have both stepped out of the line for the throne, she and Kevin will inherit it at some point in the future. Her animal companion is Lorrid, a female cougar. She has a telepathic connection with her twin brother. When they were younger, they had an annoying habit of finishing each other's sentences. They have mostly grown out of this, but have been known to lapse into it when excited or upset.

Kelamane tries very hard to emulate her mother and consequently was much better at being ladylike at a younger age than her older sister Zoe. A beautiful and a slightly vain child; sometimes she has the tendency to let things go to her head. Kevin can always quickly deflate her ego although.

Kelamane studies the monsters of the kingdom, finding their strong and weak points. She and Kevin were the ones who told Lin of the Master Sword and how to obtain it so he could rescue Elaine (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny). Her knowledged served the larger group again when Zack Baker, Keno, and Ron Smyth were escorting her, her brother, and her neice Zorden through Hyrule during Prince Nedron of Obkee's second attack (read Legends of Hyrule: Trials of War). The general consensus of the kingdom is that she and her brother will make fine rulers one day.

Prince Kevin

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Destiny

Prince Kevin is the second son of Prince Link and Queen Zelda II and twin brother of Princess Kelamane. He is named after Captain N the Game Master, a friend of his parents. He and Kelamane were born five years after Princess Zoe. Since Prince Lin and Princess Zoe have both stepped out of the line for the throne, he and Kelamane will inherit it at some point in the future. His animal companion is Hunin, a raven. He has a telepathic connection with his twin sister. When they were younger, they had an annoying habit of finishing each other's sentences. They have mostly grown out of this, but have been known to lapse into it when excited or upset.

Kevin is a conscientious young man that cares about his responsibilities. Unlike his older brother Lin, he can actually keep the royal protocol straight. He also finds himself often having to deflate Kelamane's ego, which he says is big enough for the two of them.

Kevin studies magic, and wants to become the first sorcerer-king of Hyrule. He and Kelamane were the ones who told Lin of the Master Sword and how to obtain it so he could rescue Elaine (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny). His knowledge of magic also allowed him and Kelamane to escape Agmaraa when she kidnapped Lyle and to travel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe and find Zack Baker. His knowledge also helped Lin and Lissa find the solution to the Agmaraa problem during Prince Nedron of Obkee's second attack (read Legends of Hyrule: Trials of War). The general consensus of the kingdom is that he and his sister will make fine rulers one day.

Kilare

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Verge of Destruction

Kilare was a large golden hawk. He was a constant companion of Lissa since her childhood along with Nalga. He was the one who told Lissa that Link was injured in the forest and brought her to his aid. He followed her and Link when they went to rescue Princess Zelda and find the Triforce of Destruction (read The Legend of Zelda: Verge of Destruction). He then moved into the North Palace with Lissa and Nalga (read The Legend of Zelda: Master of the Dark Realm). He also followed Lissa to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe where she met Josh Kemper (read The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Poison).

Kilare died some time in the sixteen years between Lissa meeting Josh and Lin finally defeating Ganon (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny). Lissa still misses him, and has not had a constant animal companion since.

Prince Link II, Lin

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Poison

Prince Link II, commonly called Lin, is the first-born son of Prince Link and Queen Zelda II. He has three younger siblings: Princess Zoe (born two years after him), Prince Kevin, and Princess Kelamane (born eight years after him). Elaine is his lover.

Zelda was a month pregnant with Lin when she was trapped in a crystal protector for three months (read The Legend of Zelda: Master of the Dark Realm). This coupled with the fact that Link left her after he rescued her from the Dark Realm led to many rumors in the kingdom that Lin was not Link's son. Many in the North Palace tried to dispel this rumor pointing out how much Lin resembles Link--even to sharing the mark of the Triforce birthmark on his right hand--but it still persisted. Another event of the Crown Prince's birth also troubled the kingdom. Dragons converged on the North Palace on the day of his birth and paid homage to him, and then disappeared. Lady Lissa said that the dragons had always been present but they hibernate, only waking up for truly important events in the history of Hyrule. And they considered Lin's birth an important event.

Two years later during an absence of the Lady Lissa, Ganon poisoned Lin. Zelda traveled in disguise to get the antidote from the Dark Realm, aided by a mysterious stranger. When they returned to the Palace, the mysterious stranger was revealed to be Link. He and Zelda reunited. King Harkinian's death followed shortly afterwards and Zelda was crowned Queen Zelda II (read The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Poison).

The next sixteen years passed with only minor troubles. Princess Zoe, Prince Kevin, and Princess Kelamane were born. The Lady Lissa and Josh Kemper married and had a son, Lyle. Nalga the fox, Lin's first animal companion, died and was replaced by Niklar, a blood-bay stallion, on Lin's sixteenth birthday. Link trained his son how to fight, but Zelda made doubly-sure that he never faced a dangerous situation. The Royal children were rarely allowed to leave the North Palace and when they did it was always in the company of their parents or the Lady Lissa.

Lin and Zoe chafed under the restrictions placed on them, and broke as many as they could without getting caught. Lin taught Zoe swordplay as he practiced, and to his amazement his awkward sister could fight better than he could. It was breaking one of the restrictions that led to Lin rescuing Elaine from a group of moblins. He brought her to the North Palace, and promptly fell in love with her. In order to get hold of Elaine and use her against Lin, Ganon brought a complaint to the Immortal Council of Gensiarians. They declared Elaine dead and forced her to the Realm of the Dead, which Ganon has control over even though he should not. For revenge, Lin decided to challenged Ganon for mastership of the Dark Realm so he could destroy Ganon's immortal soul. Kevin and Kelamane showed him how to get the Master Sword. With that sword and Elaine's help, Lin won the battle and Ganon was destroyed. Lin gained immortality and returned the Power of Gold to the Gold Land (read The Legend of Zelda: Destiny).

Lin still maintains a close connection to his family. Zoe has been known to disappear into the Gold Land when she and Zelda disagree (read To Be a Hero: Hero Awakens). Due to his immortality, he can see where and when Lissa and Lyle have manipulated the time stream. He knew and pointed out to Zoe that she and Orden were remembered as gods from their adventures in ancient Hyrule (read Legends of Hyrule: The Hyrueliana). He also agreed to give sanctuary to Kevin, Kelamane, and Zorden during the second war with Prince Nedron. It is unknown just how much power Lin has now in his role as immortal protector of the Power of Gold, but it is safe to say that he is as least as powerful as the Guardians.

Lady Lissa

First Appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Verge of Destruction

Lissa is the half-sister of Prince Link. She is the daughter of Marsden and a Gensiarian. She is the wife of Lord Josh Kemper and the mother of Lord Lyle. Her father died soon after her birth, and she was raised in the wilderness of Hyrule by a friend of his. She was kept ignorant of her heritage, because a potential Guardian cannot know his or her destiny until it is time to make the choice between good and evil. Kilare and Nalga both came to stay with Lissa while all three were still very young. Her ability to talk to animals is an innate manifestation of her magical nature.

Lissa's adoptive father died when she was eight-years-old, and she continued to make her home in the forest with help from the animals. This lasted for four years, ending suddenly when Kilare brought news of an injured young man unconscious in the forest. The young man was Link, just returned to Hyrule having spent a year away. Lissa nursed him back to health and left with him to rescue the Princess Zelda. Their subsequent adventure revealed her Gensiarian nature and her kinship to Link (read The Legend of Zelda: Verge of Destruction). Lissa became a Guardian and moved into the North Palace with Link and Zelda.
